«AS LONG AS I CAN BE A SCULPTURE, I DON‘T WANNA DIE», 2021

In the performance designed for the Lokremise, Lika Nüssli collaborates with Marc Jenny and his «Soundwalker». While Nüssli expresses materiality through her body, Jenny captures sounds, manipulates them, and replays his acoustic montage in the space, becoming a catalyst for the performer. In this way, Nüssli brings movement, narration, visual design, and sound into an increasingly dense conglomerate that begs resolution and form. Her work tells of everyday life and feminism, of nature, art, and color—but ultimately, of the emptiness and disappearance of everything into a «portable hole».
